Just ran into an issue with Fixed Assets for a customer. On the Book the remaining life calculation was not working for any asset that had less than 2 years left. The asset would come in with 1 year 200 days and it should have shown that there was 66 days left and instead would show 0 days remaining. These were on assets that still had a NBV>0. Had to go to the life of the asset and change it from 1 year to 2 and tab then change it back. Then it would tell me that I had changed a depreciable field and did I want to recalculate. Then went in and ignored the Life/Year and just did a recalculate and it then calculated correctly. Once we realized what Fixed Assets was doing it was an easy fix. We only had 25 assets that met this criteria. But I have had customers with over 10,000 assets and wouldn't want to be searching for a solution.
