We have a custom dexterity product for Dynamics GP 2013 which many of our clients have been using without issue since December 2014.
For only one of the clients, a message suddenly began displaying for all users in GP 12.00.1894 about two weeks ago:
"Could not add <Product Name> Product Key item to Sales - Setup".
Although they cannot think of any changes to their databases or environment, the message was not displaying in the test environment until the live databases were restored into test so we know the error relates to something in the system or company databases.
We have tried numerous things such as running grant, removing all other products from the set file and running the dexsql.log file with no luck. We have also been unable to replicate the message being displayed in any of our test servers or other clients.
Any ideas on why a message box like this would suddenly display within GP and how to suppress it from appearing?
