The users had an issue with the FA calendar last year that prevented them from being able to transfer the asset. That issue, we believe has been resolved. However, after it was resolved, the manager was able to successfully close the year, so he did. Now they cannot transfer the asset as of 11/30/2015. Is there a way around this restriction? Would manually changing the year in the book setup, making the transfer, and then changing the year back be an option?
If not, is retiring the asset and reopening the only option?
