I am unable to depreciate all fixed assets of a newly created Fixed Assets Book for April 2016 which is the first period of the new fiscal year. I have checked all settings like Book Set-Up, Account Group Set-Up, Asset Class Set-Up, and Company Set-Up to make sure that the current fiscal year is 2017 and have saved this. However, when I go into depreciation process Information to depreciate all assets, I select the new book that I have created for the new fiscal year and set the depreciation target date as 30/04/2016 and click field "Depreciate" button at the top. When I check the progress of depreciation, I get a message on each asset that must be depreciated that reads "No depreciation to be taken", although when I test by depreciating one asset from this new created book it does depreciate the asset. What am I missing?
