My test install was GP2015 on which I downloaded and installed the YE Payroll tax update. Running utilities produced errors and since I was ready to upgrade to GP2016 I initiated an uninstall of GP2015. I then installed GP2016 which produces upgrade version errors on all products. I've attempted to uninstall all, reinstall GP2015 to the prior version which also produces product upgrade errors. To restate, the DU_Upgrade log references all product IDs. Can I manually uninstall all Dynamics products and reinstall without uninstalling SQL as well? When I attempted, I was prompted that the Dynamics database already existed and I was not able to rename due to 'in use'. Does anyone have the steps required to basically start over with GP2016?
