I have an accounting colleague who is trying to add a deposit to a checkbook in Great Plains. It seems as if the deposit 'with receipts' has already been entered, but she would like to change the deposit name so that she can easily reference the deposit. The window keeps throwing an error message after tabbing off of the deposit name input box that says: “deposit number can't be changed when editing a deposit with receipts”
She says that this worked fine yesterday evening, before she left. We recently moved our Greenshades GoSync utility to a new server, and set it up so that it automatically posts payroll when it sees new payroll data in Great Plains. This used to be done manually, by logging into a terminal server and starting up the Greenshades program. We use GP 2015. Could Greenshades have affected anything?
I’m not sure what could have happened. The only thing that I know of, is that Green Shades sync utility ran between yesterday and today (to upload payroll information to Greenshades) – but all of that seemed to work fine.
Any ideas?? Thanks!
