Hi:
In GP 2018 R2 (18.00.0628), the Due Date for NET 30 terms within the Message Setup window for Sales Invoices is showing the same date as the Document Date rather than thirty days from the Document Date.
It's almost as if this field is pulling the Due Date from the corresponding Sales Order, rather than from the Sales Invoice.
We have temporarily removed the {%Due Date%} field, until we can figure out how to fix this.
Why would this not show the correct Due Date, from the Sales Invoice? As a workaround, is there some sort of programming that can be conducted on this window and for this field to add thirty days to the date where the terms are NET 30?

I created a new company with the user DYNSA (administrator), but when I try to give access to the user DYNSA gives error
Error Message:
"The user could not be added to one or more databases"
How Can I add the user DYNSA to new company ??
Path GP:
Microsoft Dynamics GP -> Tools -> Configuration -> System -> User Access
(user access settings)
GP 2018 Client slow to shutdown
I just upgrade to GP 2018.
When I close the GP app it takes forever to shut down.
Does anyone know of a fix for this ?

MRP Not Seeing POP linked to SOP
We are experiencing an issue where MRP is suggesting to Purchase Quantities that have a SOP to POP relationship.
Why isn't MRP recognizing those Purchase Orders? This will cause an duplicate Purchase Orders.
Can someone offer thoughts?
Payables Transaction Inquiry
I need some help to figure out what is causing the sequence of the transactions to show-up backwards, the payments are showing above the invoice in our payables transaction inquiry window . Name and Contact on Purchasing Ship to Address Entry
From where to the values for Name and Contact on Purchasing Ship to Address Entry come? If I am on the Purchasing Vendor Detail Entry window the Purchasing Ship to Address Entry window has the Name and Contact from the vendor. However when on the line and you go to Purchasing Item Detail Entry and then Purchasing Ship to Address Entry the name and contact fields are always blank. Clicking on the blue arrow when on a line will illustrate what I mean.
Getting location description on purchase orders
Is there any way to get the location description (IV40700.LOCNDSCR) to print in the Ship To area on a purchase order. I have created the link to the site table but it always appears as a blank. I would suspect this has something to do with the site being on the line but need the value to appear in the header. I even tried adding to the calculated fields but it is still blank.
How to distribute taxes within an intercompany payable transaction in GP
Hi,
I'm recording a intercompany payable transaction which include taxes.
Let's say purchase amount is $100 and taxes is $13
In the distribution:
Debit side: Destination company purchase account is $100
Cedit side: Source company AP account is $113
What about taxes distribution?

Hi All,
I have a simple CSV which has the bank account sort code, account number and supplier ID. I have tried using the Table Import but it doesnt seem to be updating the EFT section on the supplier record, I have set the table import to choose the country code of GB as well but it is not working, any ideas on how to mass update the EFT fields via a CSV which can then be used by the customer in future? I was hoping to avoid any direct SQL queries... the table I am updating is SY06000

Yes... we're still on version 10.
OK, it's old, but it has served us well and still meets our needs.
But we just recently discovered that "general users" can access some important and private financial info by way of the INQUIRY menu: "Inquiry > Financial > Transaction Match by Account".
We have tried adjusting everything we know (Security Roles, Security Tasks, User Security, etc) but we cannot get this menu item to go away.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello! I know this works for Payables Invoice approval but was wondering if someone has a workaround for JE entries. Is there a way to include the JE's backup to the batch approval email that gets sent out? Thanks
