Good Morning,
I am wondering if anyone could provide some advice into an issue one of my clients is experiencing with regards to Purchase Order Processing in GP 2010. When an order is raised that consists of numerous lines (the reported case we have is 119 lines) there is a noticeable decrease in performance as each line is created where it is taking time for each field to become available to enter information into. The same performance issue has also been noticed when editing individual lines.
From what I understand, GP is recalculating the whole order as each line is being edited, am I correct in thinking this?
The client themselves have offices around the country, each with their own separate GP company stored on the same SQL server. Some offices are fine however most have this issue. I initially thought that this may have something to do with the database size however after checking the size for one of the offices it is showing as 2.3GB which is one of the smallest compared to some of the other offices.
I have been unable to find any information online with regards to this issue specific to GP.
Can anyone provide any advice or has anyone experienced this before?
Many Thanks
Kevin
