Possible Performance\network connectivity error in GP2015 Citrix environment

Our customer is running GP2015 in a citrix environment.  They received the following error:  A get/change operation on table 'syContentPageXMLCache' cannot find the table.  More info  message is: [Microsoft][SQL Server native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Invalid object name '##220858'.  Can someone tell me what this message is related to and how to resolve it?  I suspect that it is network connectivity, but can't find enough documentation on this particular error.

3) Balance Sheet

4) Income Statement

Is there any documentation on this kind of data? What is the best way to know the appropriate tables to pull from?

Matching invoice to PO with Purchase Management through Great Planes

We have Purchase Management (browser module) for PO's which automatically adds VAT to requisitions regardless of servce or goods, not using Inventory module.

Currently matching invoices with 'receiving transactions entry' where invoice differs from PO with charges, for example - freight or Damage Waiver fee not initially charged on PO. How do you deal with this when matching?.

GP doesn't allow change to amount or creating new line as PO has been authorised with amount excl. these extra charges.

Have urgent invoices to process and would appreciate members feeedback.

Management Reporter not Accepting Range

I have a Row Definition that is setup with Department [000:300] and Main Account [50000:59999].  When I generate the report with this row, it only displays the GL combinations for main account 50000.  However, when I create a second row (i.e. Department [000:300] and Main Account [50000:59999], Department [000:300] and Main Account [50010])  then both the GL combinations for main account 50000 and 50010 displayed in the report.  

It looks like MR isn't accepting the main account GL range.  But when I break out the main accounts, it will then display in the report.  I have refreshed Data Mart and this didn't resolve the issue.  Is there anything else to check? 

Upgrade GP 2010 (11.00.2390) to GP 2013 (12.00.1295)

Hi,

We recently testing to upgrade from GP 2010 R2 Build # 11.00.2390 to GP 2013 Build # 12.00.1295.

However, while running GP utilities for 2013, we have encountered below error:

Error:  Product 0 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2390.
Error:  Product 258 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2281.
Error:  Product 309 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2353.
Error:  Product 414 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2278.
Error:  Product 949 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2279.
Error:  Product 3180 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2323.
Error:  Product 3258 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.2143.
Error:  Product 3830 does not support upgrading from version 11.0.54.

Can anyone suggest, where I am doing wrong?

Fixed Assets

I am new to GP and am trying to analyze the fixed assets on our books. Our school recently merged with another and we need to conform to the other schools policies and therefore change useful lives, step up basis, etc. What would be the best way to go about this? Take all the assets off and put them back on the books as new assets? We have about 1500 assets on there. The previous finance director also depreciated them within this FY and should not have - is there a way to easily reverse the depreciation on the books for the current fiscal year? Thanks.

Missing Account Analysis - Connection Attempt Timed Out

A majority of the time when we run missing account analysis within Management Reporter, it runs and runs and runs and eventually displays the error window "The connection attempt timed out".  If we run the tool enough, it'll take a good amount of time but it will eventually complete and return us the missing accounts report.

We have hundreds of reports and countless build block pieces which I'm guessing really is just timing out the allotted period of time that the missing account analysis allows.  In the ManagementReporter database, does anyone know if there's a place to extend the time?  Or, outside of cleaning up reports, does anyone have any other recommendations on getting the tool to run?

We are using Management Reporter CU15 and Dynamics GP 2015 R2.

Report writer - section size (Ms Dynamics GP2016)

Hi All,

As I know, length of body printed is based on paper size that I've select - length of page header/report header - length of page footer/report footer.

Normally, bottom wording in my report footer is a company name & details (refer picture 1).  But I realized that I cannot do this in RM Blank Statement as it would go up based on records printed. For example on last page if only 2 records printed, the wording will go up (refer picture 2). How to make it stay on last line of the page? My report footer size & page footer size is already the same. Is anyone facing this. Is there any solution to this?

GP 8 voiding applied cash receipt

AR voided a cash receipt that was applied to invoice and now GL is out of balance for cash. She did not unapply before voiding.  Any ideas?

SSRS Error when adding custom report to "My Reports" list

We have several SSRS Reports that we’ve built over the years.  We recently upgraded from GP2010 to GP2015.  When we go to “Administration” and use the “Reporting Services Reports” navigation link to the left of the main screen, we can pull these reports up, run them, etc.  And there are no errors.

However, if you click one of these reports, then click on “Add To” to add them to the “My Reports” list, everything looks fine until you go to the “My Reports List” in the navigation pane.  Then an error comes up that says the following:

rsInvalidItemPath400The path of the item ‘’ is not valid.  The full path must be less than 260 characters long; other restrictions apply.  If the report server is in native mode, the path must start with slash.go.microsoft.com/fwlink;Ev

(After that, you can’t see the rest of the text.)

This issue only seems to happen with the reports that we built.  For example, we have several reports from Wennsoft Timetrack which have far longer names than our reports, but those don’t give the error.

Any suggestions on a reason, how to troubleshoot, or a resolution?

No option to create an invoice document

Hello,

I'm tech support for a small company who doesn't use Dynamics everyday but tries to support it.  Normally I can figure most of the requests out but I'm having trouble with this seemingly simple request.

Today, one of the users walked into my office and showed me a instruction set that showed them how to create a Invoice Entry yet this option is seemingly not available with the companies they are working with within Dynamics.  However, I do see the option listed within Fabrikam as illustrated below.

My question is what needs to be done to enable this functionality?  Are there perhaps prerequisites that I am missing somewhere?

Never Closing the Calendar Year

Hello:

Our company does not administer either finance charges or 1099s, out of GP 2013 R2.

Are there any issues, then, with not closing the Calendar Year in the A/R and A/P subledgers?

Dear Experts,

I have a scenario to develop Integration for both RM Transactions and Cash Receipts.

I can see Schema available as RMApply and RMDistribution and unable to locate Cash Receipts related Schema for Apply and Distribution.

Do I need to use same Schema for Cash Receipts also?

In our GP we have divided the expenses into two categories ,  General and Administration and Projects based expenses, now  i have to extract the  Total value of costs incurred "General and Administration Expenses" . if I go individually its very time consuming, is there any way to extract the Total Value of General and Administration Expenses since Jan 2016 to Oct 2016.

GP - Accessing Native Endpoint

Hi Team, 

We are a team of developers working on integration with GP. We are consuming GP web services. 

We would need answers to the following questions: 

1. To access Native endpoint, do we have to restrict our clients to the MS clients like .NET clients? 

2. If we need to access the native endpoint through Node.js clients, do we have to consider any particular pre-requisites, recommendations to be able to do this seamlessly? 

Any suggestions or recommendations will be of great help!
